Who we are

ranked.fit (“we”, “us”) publishes HYROX athlete rankings and race results for Malaysia and the surrounding region. We are a data user under the Malaysian Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (“PDPA”). For any privacy question or request, contact us at info@ranked.fit.

What we collect

• Publicly published race results. Athlete name, nationality, age category, event, finish times and split times, sourced from publicly available HYROX results pages (operated by HYROX / mikatiming). We did not collect this from you directly.
• Account data. If you sign in, the name, email and profile photo provided by your chosen login provider (e.g. Google).
• Profile data you add. Such as an Instagram handle you choose to link to your claimed profile.
• Usage and analytics. Basic, aggregated usage data to operate and improve the site.

Why we use it and our legal basis

We process publicly published results to provide rankings, search and comparison features — our legitimate interest in maintaining a public sports records service, limited to data already published by event organisers. We process account and profile data to let you claim your profile and manage your information, on the basis of your consent and to provide the service you request.

Your rights — including removal of your data

Under the PDPA you may request access to, correction of, or removal of your personal data, and you may withdraw consent or object to our processing. This applies whether or not you hold an account, including athletes whose published results appear here.

To request removal or any other privacy action, email info@ranked.fit with enough detail to identify the profile or result (for example the athlete name and event, or a link to the page). We aim to respond within 21 days. Signed-in users can also use the in-app feedback page.

Who we share it with, and where it is stored

We do not sell your personal data. We use third-party service providers to run the site — including our hosting and database provider (Supabase) and authentication providers (such as Google) — who process data on our behalf. These providers may store or process data on servers located outside Malaysia. By using the site you acknowledge this cross-border transfer, made under appropriate safeguards.

Retention

We keep personal data for as long as needed to provide the service, and remove or anonymise it on a valid request or when it is no longer required.

ranked.fit is an independent project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by HYROX. “HYROX” and related marks belong to their respective owners and are used here for descriptive purposes only.

We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date above reflects the current version.
